CVE-2026-49412
What it is
The kernel handler for IPV6_MSFILTER dropped a serializing lock in order to copy the source-filter list from userspace, then reacquired the lock. During this window another thread could free the multicast filter structure, leaving the handler with a stale pointer to freed memory. An unprivileged local user can exploit this use-after-free to escalate privileges.

Is it in your code?
Hand this to your coding agent. It searches your project for the affected products and checks versions. Nothing leaves your machine.
Read https://cve-list.com/agent/cve/CVE-2026-49412.md and follow it. Check whether this project is affected by CVE-2026-49412. Read only. Don't change anything and don't upload my code. Tell me yes, no or not sure, with the file as proof.
