CVE-2016-3705
What it is
The (1) xmlParserEntityCheck and (2) xmlParseAttValueComplex functions in parser.c in libxml2 2.9.3 do not properly keep track of the recursion depth, which allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (stack consumption and application crash) via a crafted XML document containing a large number of nested entity references.

Is it in your code?
Hand this to your coding agent. It searches your project for the affected products and checks versions. Nothing leaves your machine.
Read https://cve-list.com/agent/cve/CVE-2016-3705.md and follow it. Check whether this project is affected by CVE-2016-3705. Read only. Don't change anything and don't upload my code. Tell me yes, no or not sure, with the file as proof.
