CVE-2012-1097
What it is
The regset (aka register set) feature in the Linux kernel before 3.2.10 does not properly handle the absence of .get and .set methods, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a (1) PTRACE_GETREGSET or (2) PTRACE_SETREGSET ptrace call.

Is it in your code?
Hand this to your coding agent. It searches your project for the affected products and checks versions. Nothing leaves your machine.
Read https://cve-list.com/agent/cve/CVE-2012-1097.md and follow it. Check whether this project is affected by CVE-2012-1097. Read only. Don't change anything and don't upload my code. Tell me yes, no or not sure, with the file as proof.
